Cancellation of health insurance for the employee/retiree in the Government of Sharjah and their dependents in the following cases: death, termination or end of the employee’s service, end of marital relationship (for the dependent), having health insurance from another entity in the country (excluding the Thiqa policy), marriage or employment (for dependent citizen children), reaching the age of 18 (for dependent non-citizen children).

Steps to obtain the service:

• Submit the request through the Human Resources Department in the entity where the beneficiary works
• Then submit the request through the electronic system

Requirements and conditions:

• Copy of the UAE ID
• Employee resignation from the Sharjah government, transfer to another department, other insurance, divorce, death
